The starter you gave me is still going really well and although producing totally consistent bread is more of a challenge since the move from freeze dried yeast to sourdough that you inspired, the learning curve has been more than worth it. The proof of success is how quickly bread vanishes - a loaf a day now, where they were lasting for 2 days. I've now become confident enough to make 2 at a time. The method I've evolved is very different from the one you outline (evolved from internet trawling mainly & I heartily second the pointer to Northwest sourdough) it seems to work well, but it will be interest to compare and contrast when I try yours.<br /><br />JonJon Derricotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15873350992477762311noreply@blogger.com
